As the largest accommodations in Chéticamp, we have 54 rooms & 2 vacation houses to choose from. Most rooms have stunning views of both mountains and ocean for which Northern Cape Breton is known for. Our property also includes a coin-operated laundry, free parking and spacious outdoor seating areas. Our welcoming lobby and staff are here to make your stay comfortable and entertaining. We are located in the heart of Chéticamp and within walking distance to many amenities in our small Acadian village with beauty everywhere you turn. Come down and see for yourself!

Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel their reservation up to 48 hours prior to their scheduled arrival without penalties. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival date will be subject to a charge equivalent to one night’s rom rate plus taxes & levy. No shows will also be charged for the entire stay plus taxes & levy.
Free Parking & Electric Plug In

Free public parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed). Our Chaisson House features an outdoor Electric Car (EV) Charging Station. Our guests charge for free. Charging fee applies for Non-guests.
Guest Laundry

Located at the top of the property. This building has a coin operated guest laundry and soda machine which is available 24 hours a day in peak season. Change for all machines available at the Front Desk.
Lobby

The Lobby is located at the top of the property in our Highlander unit. Available services; Our Front Desk will take care of check-in/check-out, provide change for guest laundry machines, provide any extra amenities you may need, photo copying, fax, printing, purchasing stamps, variety of snacks and drinks and a selection of items you may have forgotten to pack.

HIGHLANDER

Located at the highpoint of the property & offers a view of the Highlands of Cape Breton and the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Beautifully landscaped grounds with lawn chairs, benches & is adjacent to the guest laundromat. Lower level - exceptionally spacious units, bathrooms and wheelchair accessible. All lower level rooms have two queen beds and relaxing loveseat seating area. Large open deck. Upper level rooms have private balconies & choice of two double beds or a single king. No pets allowed on upper level.
Rates start at $160 for double occupancy during the peak season.

HARBOURVIEW

Two story complex offers open balconies on both levels. Second floor offers a beautiful bird's eye view of the Chéticamp harbour and the entrance to the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Lower deck offers your choice of a room with two queen beds or try the extra large suites with two queen beds, sofa bed & whirlpool tub. The upper deck rooms features cathedral ceilings with either two queen beds, a single king, or the extra large suites with two queen beds, sofa bed.

HOMESTEAD

This unit is at the main road level with drive up parking, open balcony and wheelchair ramp. Choice of two double beds, a single queen or larger suite with two double beds and pull-out couch. All units are non smoking rooms. The main fishing wharf is across the street & it's an easy stroll to nearby gift shops, museums & other amenities. The Homestead Building is located adjacent to our restaurant.

Rate start at $135 for double occupancy in peak season.

BOURGEOIS HOUSE

The Bourgeois House is the site of an original Homestead in Chéticamp dating back more that 150 years. Typical Chéticamp style home features an eat in kitchen, mud room with laundry and living room that has plenty of seating. On the first floor are the two bedrooms which each have one queen bed and an adjoining four-piece bathroom. Taking the old fashion stairs to the second floor there are three bedrooms with a single bed and bureau in each, along with a 3 piece bath. This home backyard has an outdoor patio to barbecue and parking for two vehicles.
Nightly rate of $300 for a maximum of 7 guests.No pets allowed. Refundable security deposit of $100 required upon check-in. Cleaning fee will be deducted in case extreme cleaning required upon check-out.

CHIASSON HOUSE

The Chiasson House features an eat in kitchen and living room with plenty of seating. There are two bedrooms with a Queen size bed in each and full bathroom. This house is located at the top of the property across from where the office is located.
Nightly rate $200 for a maximum of 4 guests.No pets allowed. Refundable security deposit of $100 is required upon check-in. Cleaning fee will be deducted in case extreme cleaning is required upon check-out.
